Late night ASOS Boyfriend Wishlist

I swear, ASOS is such a tempting site! Although browsing through their stock makes me happy, it also makes me sad at the same time knowing that I won't be buying anything from there anytime in the near future - unless I find a job.

Anyways, since I already bought my floral wedges I thought I'd come up with another wishlist item for my next shopping excursion : Boyfriend jackets/blazers

Here are a few that caught my eye ...

River Island Pretty Boyfriend Blazer in Pink (Source)

ASOS Power Shoulder Tailored Boyfriend Blazer in White (Source)

ASOS Boyfriend Blazer in Black (Source)

ASOS Cropped Boyfriend Blazer in Bran (Source)

Boyfriend blazers can be mixed and matched with many articles of clothing and is a staple for any wardrobe! It can also be dressed up or down but still look lovely either way :)

I hope I find one soon - preferably one that's on sale! Wish me luck!

Haul of Neutrals

Phew is it ever hot out today?! (Over 100 degrees!!! >.<)

This is why I decided to stay inside, with the a/c on full blast, a mango shake in one hand, and blog about my latest haul with the other hand.

These clothes were bought the same time as the floral wedge shoes, and I didn't realize it until I started taking pics that they're all neutral colours! Kinda makes me sad since I wanted more colour in my wardrobe, but I'm not surprised since I've always been drawn by neutrals.

Anyways, on to the clothesss:

Wet Seal was having their b.o.g.o for a penny sale and this is one of the things that I bought. (I just realized I forgot to take a pic of the other item that I bought but it was just a plain light brown cardigan, just in case you're wondering). It caught my eye because I'm used to seeing tops with a lace or crochet back but this is the opposite. It's perfect as a beach cover up, or casual hangouts and very comfortable to wear.

Energie at  Macys - It was the only one left in the sale section so I took it immediately. I love the floral crochet detail on the back of the top. Very comfortable just like the one above and it looks good with a variety of bottoms.
Epic Threads at Macys - I actually got this from the children's section when I was browsing for dresses for my cousin. I was surprised that I actually fit in it but loose tops are what's in these days. I especially like the buttons on the side, they can be undone so that it'd look like a poncho.

Rampage at Macys -It's always good to have a few blazers lying around just in case. Especially one that's white and pinstriped and can be dressed down with a good pair of jeans (either dark washed or black).

B. Darlin at Macys - Found this dress on the clearance rack and it was a steal!!! It's always good to have formal dresses for weddings and other formal occasions. I love the sweetheart neckline, and the bead detailing on the waist. Best of all, it has pockets!

Rampage at  Macys -(can you tell that I got lazy with my pictures?) Anyways this is an LBD with mesh cutouts and a crisscross back. Very cute and great for parties!
And last but not the least,
I really love the skinny belts that I bought from Forever21 over a month ago, so I decided to get a couple more. This time in nude and blue.

So that was my haul. I'll try to get another blog post out this week so stay on the lookout.

Hope everyone's staying nice and cool during these dog days of summer!
Have a nice dayy! :)

Wedge Loveeeee

Helloooo! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Been a bit busy since it's summer and all. I'll definitely try to post more since I recently went shopping with my mom. So expect a haul post within the week!

Anyways, remember my blog post where I wanted to find wedge shoes with floral print for the summer? Well, I finally found it!!! I'm soo happy ^.^! It was such a steal too! The brand is Material Girl and I bought them at Macys over the weekend for $20.

Here they are :

They also had these shoes in a tan-greenish colour which also looked nice but I thought that this darker shade of blue suited the colour of my skin more.

I can't wait to wear them! They're very light and comfortable and the height of the wedge is just right. I love the colours of the flowers and they can go with a lot of different outfits. Sooo happy!!! =)

Well that's all for now. I hope everyone's having a great summer!

Wanted: Japanese Spitz

I never thought I'd say this but I WANT a dog! Not just any breed of dog, but a Japanese Spitz.

My mom and I were on the subject of dogs and she told me stories about the dogs she had, as a young girl, back in the Philippines. Right when I heard this, the mental image that popped up were scraggly street dogs that I used to see when I still lived there, but that image went kaput once my mom mentioned that the breed of her dog was a Japanese Spitz. Curious, I searched it on the world wide web and this is what came up:

Japanese Spitz puppy - Soooo cute!

All grown up! - Look at its gorgeous white coat!
Source

Aren't they soooo cute and beautiful?! Their white fur coat is to die for! I want one!!! And best of all, they're well behaved and they hardly shed! What more could you ask for?

Here's a little trivia about Japanese Spitz (Thank you Wikipedia - here's the link) :
Pomeranian puppy
Source
  • They are cousins of Pomeranians which is a smaller breed with varying coat colours.
  • Their life expectancy is anywhere from 12-16 years
  • They do not have a doggy odor ... apparently (major plus!)
  • They are the absolute cutest dogs on the planet! (Ok, that wasn't on Wikipedia but whatever. To me it's the best dog)

However, once school's back in session I won't have time to take care of a dog so, for now, I'll keep it on my wishlist for when I get older :)

Do any of you have any cute dogs? Or are you like me and want one really badly? If so, what breed?

Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

Good afternoon! It's a gorgeous day outside, so far, but I decided to stay in and blog since I have nothing better to do. ;)

My interests change so often which is why I thought I'd bore you share some of the things that I like and dislike right at this moment - because it's bound to change in a few hours anyway.

Thumbs up d(^.^)b
Long days - I love how it doesn't get dark until 9PM-ish. I wish it was like this 365 days a year.

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Body Double Mist in Grapesicle - I forgot about this spray until a couple of weeks ago when I decided to tidy up my room. It's a light fruity smell, perfect for the summer season! However, I don't know if the smell attracts hungry insects...

Game night with friends! (Not shown in the picture) - Inexpensive, relaxing, and fun...need I say more?

Ghost Hunters International and Destination Truth - I LOVE paranormal shows.

    Thumbs down q(-.-)p

Job hunting  - I wish it were easier! Anyone want to hire me???

    Hypocrites - Self-explanatory

Summer sleeping habits - Waking up at 6PM, sleeping at 10AM = depressing

Hope everyone enjoys the beautiful sunshine today! (Although it's supposed to rain a little bit later)

Late Night Shoe 'Pron' Lusting ...

I am still on the hunt for wedge shoes for the summer and currently came across a few candidates after extensive late night online browsing - because I have nothing better to do.

My current favourites all have one thing in common, floral print. :)

Florals are definitely the trend this year and rightfully so since they add a little oomph to what would otherwise be an okay/plain/boring outfit. Also, every time I see florals my mood instantly brightens because it's a reminder of summer, good weather, my birthday, and fun hangouts with friends. And they're just really pleasing to the eyes - most of them anyways.

The only downside to these wedges are its prices. They retail from $50 to $100 USD, which isn't too bad, but being an unemployed student, I can't really justify spending so much on one pair of shoes. So, for now, I can only stare and drool at its beauty. Hopefully I get a job soon to cover my many wants! Or that they go on sale and are 75% off they're regular price - although I doubt that would happen anytime soon but a girl can dream right?

      Accessory Loving

I made this blog over a month ago but this is my first time posting since I couldn't find anything to blog about until now. Anyways, I recently went shopping with a friend of mine for the first time in about 4 months - I can't believe I held out for so long! And since summer is finally here, my shopping goals were to get cute accessories and find the perfect summer wedge shoes. Unfortunately I didn't find the perfect wedge, however, I was able to buy a few accessories. They were bought from Forever21 and ForLove21 - I absolutely love browsing through those stores because they carry such fabulous accessories that can glam up or create that pop for any outfit at extremely affordable prices!

Clockwise: Cheetah ring, burgundy and floral skinny belts, sparkling blue owl ring, floral hair clips, and studded black bow hair clips

The cheetah ring's just so unique which is why I was instantly drawn to it when the sales associate tried it on - which I thought was very smart advertising since it was one of those accessories that they place by the cash register which I tend to ignore. It also comes in a silver colour but I found the gold one more enticing, especially since the eyes on the cheetah are an emerald colour whereas the silver ring has plain crystal eyes. Everything else was bought because I'm into hair accessories - especially those that are bows and flowers - and I needed a skinny belt for a recently purchased floral dress and I ended up buying two since the floral one is absolutely lovely and can go really well with some of the plain dresses and tops that I own.

So that is my first post, hopefully more to come soon. :)
